Dennis Bunch - PRAISE REPORT

One of my managers went and saw Dennis yesterday and he is doing very well. They are hoping to send him home this Wednesday if he can increase his calorie intake. He seems to be in pretty good spirits, but still has a lot of rehab ahead. When he does go home, they will be doing rehab and such at his house. Please continue to keep Marsha and Dennis in your prayers, they are working!!!!

Carsyn Hayes - update

Carsyn went to the doctor this morning and they did a CT scan on his skull.  Dr. Wellons said that he could do the surgery now, but if he did the surgery now, the two pieces of skull would be “potato chip” thin.  He asked me what Scott and I wanted to do and I told Dr. Wellons that whatever he felt was best was what we wanted to do.  Dr. Wellons said that we will hold off on the surgery for about 6 months and then do another CT scan.  He said that time will allow Carsyn’s skull to get thicker.  If the skull is too thin, it increases the chances of the skull bone absorbing and then Carsyn would have to have surgery again.  Please remember Carsyn in your prayers and just ask that God watch over him and heal him in HIS time.  — Jen

Dennis Bunch — Praise report

Dennis is continuing to make positive improvements.  He is alert and responding to people now.  They have him doing major rehabilitation, but all in all he is doing much better.  Continue to pray for him and his family.  Over 1000 dollars has been deposited into the account set up for Dennis on behalf of Deltacom employee’s.  Please keep Dennis and his family in your prayers.

Annie Ingram — Praise report

Annie has finished chemo therapy and is doing well.  She still has to go for check ups, but so far everything is good…

Carsyn Hayes

Please pray for Carsyn Hayes.  He went for a check up with his hemotologist (blood doctor) and everything shows clear of histiocytosis.  Now the next step is to repair the hole in his skull from his first surgery when he was 8 months old due to the bone not growing and filling in the hole.  I just talked with his doctor and we are scheduled to go to Birmingham to see his neurologist on February 19th @ 9:00am.  They will be doing a CT scan to check the thickness of his skull to make sure that it is thick enough for them to take a piece from the thickest area and cut it in half (thickness wise) and place the extra piece over the hole that is in his skull.  If the CT scan shows that the skull is thick enough, he may undergo surgery as soon as February 21, 2007 to repair the skull.  Please be much in prayer for this situation and give us (his parents) the strength to be there for him and give him the courage and comforting that he needs to not be scared.  I will keep you all updated… — Jen

Dennis Bunch

Dennis Bunch.  He is a co-worker of mine and was involved in a motorcycle/car accident on Wednesday.  He was on a motorcycle leaving work and a car pulled out in front of him and he hit it.  He is currently in UAB hospital.  He was air lifted after the accident.  He will lose one kidney and his spleen.  He has a laceration on his liver, but they believe it will heal on its own.  His right arm is shattered and his leg has a straight break which they will handle later.  He doesn’t have any children, but he is married.  Please remember his wife, Marcia also.

Thanks,
Jen
